I like the fact that you leave some flexibility while others are very rigid in their thinking. Also, I think black ball bags go with any color shirt...you're already wearing a black belt and black shoes...Just my opinion.

The color under shirt you wear under your Umpire shirt depends on 2 things,

 

1- What your association wants you to wear

 

2- Rule of thumb is the last color of the stripe on your Umpire Shirt

    except for the Cream Shirt you would wear Black undershirt

I'll be out of step charlie on this, but I think black undershirt under cream looks ridiculous. The only reason we're wearing cream in the first place - not always but generally - is that it's 95 degrees outside. I'll go without an undershirt altogether before I wear black under cream.

That document is from TASO in Texas. That is colors that our state level approved. Some chapters allow guys tower other things, but that is what the state approves. Most chapters are transitioning to mainly black and the pro-blue. Next year black will be the default color.
