OK ...this is a no brainer, no big deal, EASY call .......

Ethier really doesn't even look at JH, but kind of looks around and rolls his eyes like "dammit, I'm an idiot" ....  it's very obvious there is nothing directed at JH,....but watch Hirschbeck's reaction?

This is what I'm talking about, when umpires stare the play down afterwards .......what do you guys see here ..... this is strange to me...

It's like he's looking for an arguement ..........

I think you might have the wrong video, or MLB.com (again) messed up.

no, it's right ...........................

Thunder, we really dont know what JH said .. could be one of those.." hey i dont know why you went".. but we dont know what the runner said.

That's a good point too! I didn't think of that, ....thanks ............

He just stays with the play.  It looks like Ethier says something as he calls him out.

Ethier definitely said something and it looks like Hirshbeck simply says something to the efect of," That's a no brainer, why aren't you going to the dugout?
The shrug and point is what I read out of that.

LA had a tough time with JH's rotund strike zone Tuesday, there is some build-up there.

Gil, are you serious?! Puig= "WAA-WAA-WAA"!!

There was nothing wrong with that pitch, he just didn't swing at it, then he chases a ball way up and somehow that is Hirshbeck's fault?

Unfortunately that's the clip that was highlighted; the team at large seemed to be in disagreement about the definition of the term "hollow of the knee" and mouthed off a bit in frustration.

For the life of me, I cannot see anything wrong in this at bat, looking at the chart.

or while Fernandez was pitching.

2 of the strikes outside the box were a #1 and a #2 pitch so that is not ringing anyone up. Only that #3 pitch could have been a ringup, but without looking it up, I highly doubt it.

@Thunderheads Hirshbeck makes the safe call and the runner is looking right at him talking. You see John's hands go up immediately in a WTH are you asking me about? action. As he is getting up he does facing him and then continues to cry walking away.
