Just wondering if anyone has tried anything like this.  A smaller container capable of holding 2-3 balls.  In said container put in some variety of absorbent kitty litter to dry the balls off during an early morning game with plenty of dew on the field or a wet drizzly day? In my head it seems that if a ball is put in there given a shake around and allowed to sit until the ball in use needs to be dried it would be much drier than if a towel were used.  Any ideas or input into this?  picture attached for reference purposes

Good idea but I will not do it.

I already have enough stuff to worry about. If the ball is wet I toss it to the coach let them worry bout it. If they want dry balls they will provide them.

I really don't consider it my problem to keep them dry.

It would be a good idea to bring up to a coach.

Not my job to worry about keeping baseballs dry.

A little baby powder after my shower keeps my balls dry enough. :beerbang

Actually I have asked the home team to do this before but some Turface in a bucket to keep the balls dry.

Smart coaches might do this, oh wait those two words don't belong together.

This is when you know we are counting down the days to the start of the season...

How about a little turface in the right ball bag?  Would be a good reason to wear both ball bags! :stir:fuel::stir

Smitty Alert!  Run for cover, 30 page thread on the way.
