I love mine as well. I took a direct shot on a ball that bounced up in a D3 fall game last weekend. I did not feel a thing. I kept waiting for a bit of that queasy feeling, but it never came.

I will not wear anything else.

Good morning, I am considering "upgrading' my current protection from a standard cup to a NB, i notice that the correct and proper fitting requires a compression short. Anyone out there have a preference as to brand; does one brand of short seem to work better with the NB than another?? thanks in advance. ty

I wear both McDavid and Under Armour compression shorts with mine, I have not noticed a difference in fit.

i wear mine with Under Armor, McDavid, and Shock Doctor ankle length compression pants. No issues with any. Although I find myself using the Shock Doctor ones the most often. Very comfortable.

 

I also use the Nutty Buddy brand jock. For me, it holds the NB in place better than other brands...Bike et al

Wear it like they show and you will have no problems.

I use standard compression shorts as my base, then the nutty buddy jock which is now paired with the nutty buddy for the same price from ump-attire.  So basically we get the jock for free now

i wear compression shorts, then the NB then a McDavid jock (didn't have the luxury of the jock included with my NB purchase) then i wear tights over top of it all just to make sure it doesn't shift during a First to Third rotation (had that happen when i was just wearing the tights under the NB and jock.

I finally ordered a NB last week from UA...Used it for the first time yesterday, really comfortable...Like some others have said, you forget you have it on....Well worth the $$$

I see that the company that makes the NB is coming out with compression shorts with a pocket specifically designed for the NB cup.

 

Funny, I said I'd never get a NB because I hate wearing jockstraps.  Then I gave in during the offseason and was all prepared to wear tights under cup under jock.  Now it looks like I may not have to -- although the combo of cup/jock/tights is pretty comfy and like others have said, it's the first time in 25 years it feels like I don't have  a cup on.

 

I had my wife throw a couple of good shots at it and I didn't feel a thing.  She tried.
