Just received an email from Jeff. The new Douglas / Douglas should be here by Monday. I have never worn any other protector than the West Vest Gold - I am looking forward to the Douglas CP.

You will love your new Douglas-Douglas. Get you one of the all-star delta flex harnesses and it will fit like a glove. Smooth as butter!

I have a WVP and I love it. The question is is a douglas that much better, and is it cooler and more comfortable? I love my WVP, but Im always looking to upgrade my equipment. I truly believe you need to buy the best, becasue you get what you pay for.

The new Douglas Douglas arrived this afternoon. The extra flap seems to make it feel a bit high on my shoulders - but it much lighter than the WV. I really prefer the T-hooks so I can pull the CP to my body. It is very nice - cannot wait to use it.

Just shipped my CP back to Jeff so they can put the flaps on the shoulders for the gap protection. I'm glad I found a window of opportunity to send it back. Can't wait to see the result!

What I love about the DF on this rig, is that it hikes it up where it's supposed to be....so ...the 15" isnt' as long as it sounds

Check out the pic in the first post of this thread - it has the t-hooks. Jeff will modify the CP and put them on for a nominal fee.

You can also buy t hooks at any place that sells football pads. I prefer the ones Douglas uses. I like how they swivel and lay flat.
