Douglas stocks the T-hooks. They use them in all football pads they make. The T-hooks just slide on the delta harness after you take the original clips off.

I started to order my Douglas with black pads. I wish I did now!!! How much was it to add the T hooks

Douglas stocks the T-hooks. They use them in all football pads they make. The T-hooks just slide on the delta harness after you take the original clips off.

Okay so all they have to do is make the bottom part like they do their football pads. I'm still baffled as to why they simply don't make their CP like the ones we're paying to modify. It's fantastic that you can basically customize your Douglas CP.

In reference to t-hooks, I have had an email conversation with Jeff Cook of Douglas this morning as I wanted to ask about reconditioning costs for my CP.

The t-hook mod is $20 (as is the shoulder cap mod). He did not specify if this included the hooks or not but I am assuming it does as they use t-hooks on their football pads

In any case, the total cost to recondition my stock CP (can't remember if mine is 14 or 15 inch) and do the mods to be like fittske24's CP is a total of $90 (plus tax and shipping)

New Chest Protector Gray Plastic $159.99

add Epulets $20

add T-Hooks & Slots $15

Cushion Custom Color $30

Custom Bias Color other than Black $20

If all you want to do is add the T-hooks and gap coverage, then your additional cost will be $35. If you are fully tricking it out like i did then $85 is your damage.

I have 2 douglas.. a newer one and a older one.. I like the buckles on the side, instead of the t-hooks.. and yes I have used both...
