Ok yes it's a simple mechanic but if everyone is equal to you what do you think stands out? I can tell you I know guys who have been dinged on this in a college eval same as mirroring time. If you hate it and are willing to die on it. God bless, for me; he who gives me my schedule makes the rules. So I will do what odd mechanics they want until I transcend that level.

Paperwork should have zero bearing on my decision to eject or not eject a coach. If game and situational management fails then its my duty to do the paperwork. If in the first inning he comes out and Mother F's me, I'm not going to be slow because of paper work and giving him a chance. He can curse the call, he can come out a discuss, debate, argue etc... but not over step all most good managers know where that line is. Eject when needed, if not then you're putting the pressure on your partner to do it for you.

Pro school would still train you, you just wouldn't be looked at for a pro contract. But if you have the time and the resources to go, then by all means do it. Pro school and proper training can't hurt you.

Ron, there are a few clinics of great quality in CA. Black & Blue in Sacramento, MIB in huntington beach and MLB in compton. Harry does run a socal classic almost every year and there are a few little ones here and there as well.

Ron, There is no set timeline on getting to NCAA. It all depends on how good you are, what network you create, what opportunities you rise to the occasion at, you need training, training, training. I know guys who've battled for years and others who seemingly got in first shot. But if you get trained properly, apply that training, look great, cross your T's and dot your i's off the field and can flat out work you will be found and advance; also an open availability doesn't hurt either. Also is since your in SoCal like me you're in a very competitive area of the country, so work hard and I'm sure you'll make it. If you need to know anything else feel free to PM me.

Smitty poly wools are a nice option for those trying to save money. I put them next to a pair of hardwicks honigs/UA and they're good color wise. For those trying to save some cash they are a good option. Also the new USA alternatives for honigs are made by hardwicks as well.

I had this same issue when I went to college. There are a few things you can do. You can as they mentioned live off campus, frat or make a sports team. Or if you want to live on campus, go talk to the dean of student affairs. They should be able to write you a parking pass for the spring semester for HS baseball season. You will want to talk about this is your avocation and you don't want to go into unnecessary economic hardship due to the fact you need this car in order to get to work and games. They will work with you I'm quite sure of it.

Welcome Ron, I echo what the majority of this panel has said. Buy quality up front. Get a mentor both where you want to be and network with the best in your unit as well. Get training here in SoCal you have many options on training that can't ever hurt you. You can make money but look for quality games over quantity if you can. Challenge yourself and be motivated to work every game as if an evaluator is in the stands. Look better then all and never stop hustling. Get into the book now and you'll be working alot of single man at first. But know the rotations and positioning of the two man system. So when you get your shot you can rise to the occasion. Know the rules, know the rules, know the rules. And above all else have fun! Welcome
