Play at the plate review

no problem w/ the call on the field ...... but ...... I'm seeing safe on review.  Anyone else?

The front foot bounces up over the plate.  If the intial tag attempt hit the foot, then it's an out.  If it missed it and the tag didn't happen until the leg, then it's safe.

 

I gave up watching.

That is very close. No way they can overturn it based on the video.

foot certainly beats the tag to the plate, however, impossible to see if the foot hit the plate or was above it in that video.

If this was called SAFE on the field ........then what do you have on replay/review?

IMHO, the video doesn't show enough to reverse either call.

I thought he was safe with one look in real time.  But I don't think from the looks we got on replay there was enough to overturn.
