The announcers state that the tag at 2B is not reviewable unless the throw pulls the fielder from the base. This play seems to qualify, if that's correct.

That was a routine MLB call - the look from 3B side looks too close to overturn but, the view from HP is obvious.

That is really starting to knit-pick these calls - for years worse than that have been called out.

Take out Replay if they are using it for this kind of stuff.

That never should have been called out in the first place...that's not a neighborhood play, it's barely even in the same suburb.

The neighborhood play is allowed to protect the fielder, not to quicken the DP. The throw was the reason F6 came off early. The throw was slow, F6 went to it (cheated) to make the turn quicker.

Edit:  "The neighborhood play is no longer allowed   . . "

Runners used to chase the pivot man all over the field and blast him into left field.  With the "reach the base" and "no rolling block" rules it isn't necessary any longer.

Great training aid here, on this play the U2 or in 3man this play the ball is hit to the 2nd baseman, so we the umpires want to stay to the glove side and on this play it would be deep "B" and you will get a great look at the touch of the base ( which is not touched, but close as heck) and the transfer of the ball.
