So, my question would be, ......if he had called him out (which the slo motion looked like to me) .....the out call would have stood, right?

I still do not understand why the umpires at the game are required to stop, go put on headphones, listen and relay the decision MADE IN NY to all involved.

 

Let the manager go to the plate umpire and state he is challenging then go to a phone to NY and issue the challenge.

 

After the ruling from the hung over crews in the replay center is made and the result is displayed on the jumbotron.
