It just happened in Detroit ..... JD Martinez on first base ............shot to center, dropped ball (not seen) originally called out, and JD Martinez supposedly doubled-up. Long review ... OVER RULED, and they place JDM at third, and gave Casey McGehee a single. After the long review Farrell is still pissed off, and he wouldn't shut up , Scott Barry just dumped him! Can't wait to see this video from MLB.com ! Stay tuned We always discussed that here, that this type of play would be the most difficult to accomplish because if the placement of the runners.

What appears to be a great call at the plate gets reversed on what appears to not be anything conclusive ..... very different than what we've seen all year ...... most ....IF NOT ALL of these type of plays do not/have not been reversed this season.... Ok ... Jerry Layne takes a ball off the glove of Cervelli for ball 4 right in the eye slot of his Wilson Titanium .... He wants to stay, but leaves the game. Now, the discussion is ...ball 4 , or foul ball? Cabrera has fun w/ the Pirate fans. Also .... I noticed this on Monday, but .... check out the jackets the guys are wearing?? ....not enough evidence I guess because it's really tough to see / confirm the tag here ....anyhow .... what I like is....something James told us at SEMUC in classroom sessions. He said he likes to preface any discussion w/ managers by saying hi to them ....and when you watch this video, you can see Ausmus come out, and right before he gets there you see him smile and say, "hi James " ...so I knew right there that James did what he told us he did .....kind of cool to see that ........ http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/63817564/v36098369

....so, video couldn't overturn this. The fans see it on the jumbotron, and start exiting Comerica .... the safe call stands.....obviously not enough evidence. In yesterdays Tiger Oriole game, in the 9th, ...Nathan though he had strike 3 on Davis to end the game, but was called a ball inside by Tumpane. When you first look at it ...you think strike all day, especially at most of our levels, but ...the pitch is inside and you have to tip the cap to calling that pitch correctly to Tumpane.
