Guess it depends on the crew, but I know some folks who prefer to have PU stay home with two out.  Wonder how it was pregamed.  Otherwise, this was PUs call all the way.

PC's call no matter the outs. Two man, there is still a trail runner, if he is safe at third, trail may try to advance to second.

Wasn't the ball kind of a looper toward the line in right?  PU needs to be on the line for that and leave the bases to PU.

Maybe he read it different.

It didn't look like a fair/foul decision needed to be made, so no, he heads toward third. This looks like a cluster, and there is no good way to resolve it. The PU's call stands.

It would depend on the communication during the play.  Most of the time, I pregame with my partner that BU (from B or C) has all fly balls in the outfield unless I call him off (which would generally be F7 or F9 moving to their respective foul lines).  This looked more like an obvious base hit, and not near enough to the line for me to take this as PU.  Also, as I run up to the library, I would be calling, loudly, "I've got third if he comes!  I've got third!"  In addition, BU should be looking over his left shoulder to see that PU is where he is supposed to be.  Not sure how PU didn't see BU sliding over, but it's something he HAS to see to avoid this kind of double call.

Then this happened in the bottom of the 10th....

I can only assume the batter made a comment pertaining to the double-call???  Interesting to say the least!

I am assuming that this is high school ball? Where did they get this announcer?

After a sh$%storm like that, that last place I would have been if I was BU would be next to my partner by home plate. As soon as it was over I would have been where I was supposed to be - far away in right field!

Wakefield is from Mt. Pilot. The Colonels are from Mayberry. Andy has the dish. Barney's in the field. Floyd is announcing the game.

We don't need none of your newfangled mechanics 'round here, college boy!

What we need is a third umpire on this play so we don't have no more ties!

But here is the big play in game 3 with the series tied 1-1 and NW trying to make another comeback like they did in game 2 with the plays mentioned above.

NW went on to win the 3 game playoff 7-6 in game 3.
