Runner let up coming around 3B, he got himself thrown out.  Looking at replays it was a banger but I have no problem with the call (unless I'm a Brewers fan )

Hard to tell whether the runner was blocked off the plate, as we don't have the usual camera angles on the play. It certainly appears he got to the plate before the tag, but without knowing whether he touched it, it's impossible to assess the call.

 

Now the guy who COULD see... made the call. Good positioning.

I have an out, but like Mike Prince said had he not put it on cruise control as he approached the plate he probably would have beaten it.

I've watched it 5 times and I can't tell. I guess I'd say safe if I absolutely had to make a decision but I have no real idea. So I'll trust the guy that does. Plus he's originally from my association, so this is a no-brainer!

I accidentally hit pause on a frame that shows that his leg probably missed the plate and the tag got him just before his finger tips got the plate.  

 

I don't know why you guys think umpiring is so hard.

Absolutely an out.  Had to see it several times to come to that conclusion, though.  This is probably the best call I've see any umpire make in any of the vids posted here, but not sure how he was able to see it at live speed from his position.  He most likely just got lucky here.
