Called my first balk tonight. FED rules, with R2,  the pitcher was in contact with the rubber and went to his mouth. He did it twice, the first time i warned him and the second time I balked him. No one argued and play resumed as normal.

It was a middle school game and i wanted to give the kid a chance. If it had been Varsity there would've been no warning.

Yup, good call!!  Middle school, probably first time on 90, with raised mound and further throws.  I like it!
