I spoke with UA and their UA Heatgear core ventilated leggings will not be in-stock until late June early July at best. I currently wear McDavid hexpad tights that are starting to fray after 2 seasons and am looking for some replacements- I heard the core ventilated leggings are great but are they worth waiting for since the regular heatgear leggings are in stock?

Are the shock doctor leggings warm or are they pretty unnoticable? I'm looking for some leggings but am looking for something for summer wear, and I'm a pretty big fan of shock doctor gear.

I have the Shock Doctor too and love them, but I still would not recommend using the internal cup pocket. I wear my cup in a jock outside the tights.

I bought 2 pair of tights/leggings at Wal-Mart last year. "Body Glove" el cheapos that cost like $18 a pair but they provide good compression and have held up well. They have worked out great, I wear them every game for bases or plate. On the few occasions I have not worn them it feels very weird. The only thing I've noticed is that I have to pull my socks over the tights or my shin guards have a tendency to slide down.

I normally wear compression shorts, a jock/cup over the shorts and then tights over everything.

I wear UA tights as well. They are terrific. It took me a while to understand that even on a warm day they pull the sweat off your body keeping you cool. Also, you dont have that giant sweat stain that makes you look like you have a urinary issue (LOL)! And when you wear leggings your shin guards feel like they are not even there.BUt i have yet to try the core ventilated leggings. I might just make that purchase. I believe they are a bit cooler than regular leggings.

Balls and strikes baby!!!!

T-Rav , i have the UA core ventilated leggings . I bought them recently , based on a post by another (kevin finnerty) in the group . they seem to be well made and keep me very comfortable , and they are compression designed with a very wide waist band . I haven't worn them in any very hot weather yet . I also own McDavid compression leggings , which i have been wearing for about 9 months now . i did wear (McDavid) late last summer in some hot weather , and didn't seem to be hot or uncomfortable . I will say that the McDavid are a much tighter compression fitting design than the UA . The UA materials are very comfortable against the skin . time will tell how they wear going forward though ? The UA are worth waiting for IMO .

I'm using McDavid for years. Worn and washed at least 100 times. They are great. I only wished they didn't discontinue the HEX Protection pants.  :cool2:
