I never received an answer on a question, so help me out here. Does the nutty buddy work with the floating cup holder that come with McDavid tights?

What the hell was that last thing supposed to be? I was really getting into it.

Used to umpire for the MUA. Those tights are great in that Missouri humidity. Now, if McDavid could only do something about those damn bugs. Especially the ones in the grill of my car when I would get home from Quincy.

Nope. I tried it. I go Jockey shorts, NB, NB jock strap, then long compression tights. Works like butter, and way better then the Shock Doctor setup I was using. Kyle, the cup doesn't fit in the cup holder on the McDavid

I have the first generation UE chest protector and I'm not clear of what your idea of collarbone protection is? If you're wearing your protector correctly, up near your neck, you shouldn't have any issues with collarbone protection.

With the white shoe laces. I wear those shoes. They're perfect without the shoe laces. That is my opinion. I don't own a pair of umpire or football shoes without white. We were told we couldn't wear shoes with white in them when I worked a CIF final in 2009. I wore them anyway. At the post season meeting the President of California Baseball Umpires Association mentioned that somebody had worn shoes with white on them and that they had actually looked really good. He then brought it up for vote to change that rule. I know for darn sure I wasn't going to buy a new pair of base shoes for one game. I like shoes with white. Just think the white laces are too much. Am looking at some of the umpire shoes available in Japan. I would definitely wear them if it didn't bring any attention to me. I remember buying a red mask from plus pos because it was really cool looking. Got all kinds of change the batteries, turn off the mask comments. I'm thinking of wearing it in a few games this year.

I think these are going to wind up being the shin guards that give me the most protection of any I have owned. With three layers of protection logic dictates that. Can't wait to strap them on in a game.

I'm sure the white shoe strings can be exchanged. I thought the same negative thing when I first looked at them but I may wear them while they're fresh and then change them out for black as the season progresses. Get rid of the white shoe laces. That is too much white, even for me who loves white on shoes. Brings too much attention to the umpire.

The best base shoes I have ever worn by far. If you have wide feet these are the shoes for you. And easy to clean. I use a nylon scrub brush and hot soapy water.
