If there had been no earlier problems I would have the coach remove him and handle it. Just let the coach know he isn't allowed to come back in the game.

Jax, I love my TW's too, but after two years, I'm not totally sold on them to the extent I will neaver wear leather again. This may well be because I've worn leather for almost 30 years, but TW's cause my face some irritation and I sweat a lot. I posted about TW pads not doing anything differently in the amount of soreness I have in the jaw area after being hit. I can't tell any difference.

Don't be hating on me, but Team Wendy's have yet to stop my jaws from hurting after a good hit any better than the stock leather pads did with my Wilson low profile titanium mask. I wish I could say that there was a definitive difference, but I couldn't tell any. I switched to a standard profile mask just recently and will let you know how that goes. I will use this mask until a new one comes out this spring. As far as the leather goes, they are nice. I didn't have any issues at all with slippage or irritation. If you get the tan ones, or the black with tan interior they do stain when you sweat. Other than I have always used leather pads.

According to most people on here you should replace breakfast with TW pads. How did we survive without them or the West Vest? ha A very sarcastic comment.

Yea. Limber those things up now. Was just told by Jason at ABUA that they will loosen up. You're going to love them. At times I had to remember that I was wearing shin guards.

Just did my first game being able to use these items and I have to say that both are outstanding. The ZRO-G mask is very light, has a great field of vision, (better than the Wilson titanium I am replacing), and the stock pads were very comfortable. Had none of the stubble issues that some have talked about. The Unequal Force 3 shin guards are equally as good. Very light, very protective, although with a much smaller field of vision as you wear them under your slacks. The wings that some have spoken about are actually pulled tight by the bottom strap. Comfortable. The only issue is that the knee caps come very stiff out of the box and I had a hard time bending it onto my thighs, but as the game went on they loosened up very nicely. I give these my highest recommendation.

Oh wait, I did a double header today. I think I sweated, but it could just be my hat stinking.

Do you still coach? I will say that 5 million dollar a year contracts for coaches mean a lot more on the line. I know some MLB players make a lot more than that, but baseball is about 25,000 games per month in the season. You just can't get that excited about things. It happens, but they know they're in it for the long run. How about those Missouri Tigers?!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am located in the Coachella Valley in California. Hotter than all get up in the summer, but these winters are great. Rarely any weather issues with baseball.

What I know is that the owner have to be rolling in his grave with the way his sons are running his company today. I ordered a plate brush and the old 3-2-2 indicators in middle December and haven't receive it yet. The comunnication on their part is nule. I actually spoke with the owner before New Years because I had questions about a product and the company in general. We spoke for about ten minutes and I ordered a mask. Placed order on the 28th and received the mask this morning. Did very well to me.

The point is to prevent coaches or players from coming up and verbally or physically assaulting an umpire after a game. This is a big no no for coaches or players if there is a suspension that goes along with it.

Absolutely not. I wore the McDavid, then the Shock Doctor for years. The cup never made a tight fit, and sort of floated away from my body, at times. The Nutty Buddy solution is far superior for me. Money well spent. And I wear leggings of some sort on the bases now, too. Thanks. Now I have some closure on the subject. Ha
