  2. I was just thinking that the all-star FM4000 would look great powder coated black.
  3. 1500? final offer?
  4. What surprises me is the ankle bone protection. I expected more, something similar to the WV pro or platinum shin guards. Jax, where did you find that picture? Have you found a price on them?
  5. nothing controversial here though ............ It is a call that is apparently unexpected... all I mean by that is I agree that there is nothing controversial, but it's a call that always seems to come with a conversation afterwords.
  6. Tschida retired so you are correct he does not wear a C Tim McClelland still uses his Carlucci from time to time. Tim Tschida and Tony Randazzo still use Carlucci CP as well. Teddy B isn't the only one using a Carlucci. As far as I know Tschida doesn't use the Carlucci no more. Tschida retired, so you are correct he does not wear a Carlucci any more
  7. No lawn chair, it's a high chair
  8. ok ok I get it. Even though I was not looking for opinions on the decor of the house. The shirt is inexcusable, should have known someone would point that out.
  9. anyone have opinions on this color scheme?
  10. Ok good to know. Mine are already on the way back from Team Wendy. If you get some time would you mind posting a few pictures of them?
  11. I'll be honest I got my hopes up for a split second!
  12. With brand new equipment I cover all rivets with clear nail polish to prevent rusting.
  13. I agree Kiwi works great. I do use a liquid polish on the sole before a game, that's the best method I have found for keeping the sole looking brand new. Anyone use something that they find works well on the sole of an all black shoe? Also, has anyone used leather luster on the NB shoes? I have noticed a photo on this site that has Reebok plate shoes with luster applied and it looks great! Wanted to find out before I ordered a kit.
  14. Any one else like his ejection mechanic as much as I did. I know I do mine differently. I don't know if there is a name for the technique, but it's similar to Will Little's or Manny Gonzalez, where it looks as if your grabbing your ear.
  15. How about adding in who has the their chest protector retrofitted? I am curious as to who all wears it.
  16. Finally got mine yesterday. I am very excited to try it out today. The shin guards should be in this next week!
  17. Do you crease in front of or behind the eyelets? Do you crease the back?
  18. Jaw is on the floor. Looks like I found tomorrows project! Any recommendations before I go hacking away at my mask?
  19. What I am getting from everyone's replies is that I made the correct call. However in the original post I said the FPSR is not applied because of the location of the play. That I can now understand to be completely incorrect. The FPSR was a factor only in determining whether I had MC or not. Sound about right?
  20. Has anyone done modifications similar to Cory Blaser? I am thinking of doing this myself and am curious if anyone has attempted modifications and how it went.
  21. To clear any confusion up R3 did nothing molicious he simply was running and was tagged. Yes they collided, and yes they both ended up on the ground however nothing malicious happened. R3 was on the just to the foul side of the 3rd baseline and F2 was actually a few feet within fair territory. When he fielded the ball he had to take a stide and a very quick movement to apply the tag. I hope that those points make the situation a little more clear.
  22. Im not disagreeing with you at all. I was just asking how you felt about it and if you think its an absolutly do not use type of phrase.
  23. I understand it is drawing a line in the sand but that is the point of that statement. Just the same as I have heard enough or conversation is over so and so go back to your dugout. Only time that comment would be said is if I am prepared to eject him and want to extend the last inch of rope to hang himself. Are you simply recommending that I avoid that comment or simply be aware of the repercussions it can bring if not used effectively?
  24. Pro Rules except, for college slide rule(I don't believe applies because of the location of the play), R3, and one out. Deep fly to F7 and he fires it in to F2 who is up the 3rd base line about 10 ft. F2 fields and applies a tag as R3 is sprinting by the tag hits the player in the shoulder and both R3 and F2 end up on the ground while the ball has rolled to the backstop. I called R3 safe after he touched the plate.
