does anyone know where to get blank New Era hats with the leather sweatband instead of cloth?

Not that I know of. I sent mine in on the 12th I have a separate thread about them that I will post pictures on when I get them back.

I would also tell you to get some Wilson gold shin guards. I would recommend a 1 and 3/4 inch patten or clarino finish belt. I only wear black short sleeve mock turtlenecks underneath but it also depends on what your association requires you to wear for a shirt. If you want to wear baseball socks that's fine, eventually you will steer away from them especially if you get compression tights. I wear nike dri-fit calf-height socks. Also, at this point if your going for one big purchase you should consider throwing a bag to put all your stuff in. The first year I had mine never used it to actually travel, then I was invited to umpire in AZ (I live in MN) and it was worth every penny to have it even for only the one trip.

I sent mine in yesterday. I have not heard back from them yet. I will post pictures when I get the back if I can figure it out.

Those gear junkies that have had your shin guards retrofitted by team wendy, I would love to hear your reviews. I just sent my set of WV gold equipment to Team Wendy today. I have not seen a post about retrofitted shin guards and really wondering if anyone believes that its worth the money to have them done.

So is it a hodge podge of chest protectors? It has the riddell shoulder caps. Just curious how or why he would do that.

I see the riddell shoulder cap, but I also see a Wilson center CP plate at 1:35. Anyone agree, any comments?

First ... do you have a pic of your Air Max+ ? Comfort is key, and I personally like white on my shoes. I also prefer (like most) to have material that's cleanable, (not mesh) ..you know the drill. Last year I used the 3n2 shoe and customized the logo in white. Comfy, but not quite enough white for me. This year I used the Nike Air Elite Pregame and really like them. Comfy, sharp, and had just enough 'nubs' on the sole for traction! @Thunderheads I constantly look for the Air max shoes you had in the thread where you posted the picture of your organized vehicle. If you come across them again especially in a size 10 would you be will to PM to let me know where you find them.

For the extra strap that would flop around on the mask harness, I came up with an awesome fix in my opinion. I ordered a replacement shin strap and cut it to fit around my harness. It can move back fourth and just makes the look much more professional in my opinion.

Cody. Are you asking for these items for free OR are you asking where to find them to purchase? Not for free! I am asking if anyone has any of these items that they would like to get rid of. I would love to have any and all of those items but they are not a necessity. To sum it up was just hoping someone would offer a decent price for any of those items.

I saw one partner of mine do this before, does this really work? BTW, I will start carrying extra socks. I did a one sock game on Sunday, I was quite off balance. I usually carry extra socks, and I often have 3 or 4 different sets of uniforms in my car. (Different Fire/EMS/Umpiring gear). However, once I didn't have ANY black socks in my car anywhere. I used my "paint" as I call it (the quick shine stuff) and painted some white socks black. Strangest thing I think I've ever done! I saw one partner of mine do this before, does this really work? I cant stand have creases and I actually put my ball bags and belt in the pants before i put them on just so I know I never miss a loop and dont have to ask anyone to check for me! I don't think they'd fit over my shoes. They just fit, I have size 10 feet. Not the smallest feet in the world. I need to lean against my car, otherwise I would tip over but, it works for me.

Why? It is not for everybody but I would be out of the game by now if I had to box. I liked the look the scissors gave me but I won't work the scissors any more and the main reason is for pro school.

I am also wondering about odds and ends to bring along as well. Examples being a DVD player to review any possible tapeing, black/navy mock turtlenecks, how many pairs of pants would get me through, stuff like that.

I registered. Haven't had any sort of check list sent. I still have to send in my student enrollment agreement, maybe then they will. Their website does not have a check list either.

I was told never to call a coach "coach." The reason being is that you put your self below that "coach" he is not your coach. Your in charge of the game and he being the "coach" should respect you enough to call you by your name and you should do the same Just wanting to hear opinions Thanks Cody
