I think the standard for one base or two is what impetus sent the ball to the dugout; the pitch itself or the attempted fielding by F2. The classic NCAA question is, pitch deflects off R2's shin guards (one), F2 knocks pitched ball into the dugout while trying to field it (two). Looks too me like his attempted fielding did it, but no questions or complaints so...maybe a "on the transfer" rules interp. next year!

Catcher hits batter with throw; do you toss him??

Such a nice gesture by the plate umpire! -
Last week, home team/offense's dugout, half of the team kneels, the other half stands behind them. As the relief pitcher begins his stretch, a home team player yells "Arrow!" they all reach in their imaginary quivers for arrows...then he yells, "Pull!" and they all pretend to pull on the imaginary bow strings, then he yells "Fire!" as the pitcher releases the ball...it was an easy warning and the activity was not repeated... "Any orchestrated activities by dugout personnel designed to distract, intimidate, or disconcert the opposing team..."

I haven't found an answer to your question, I'm just trying to make do at the plate, always making sure I get the darkest copy! Never seen just readers at a conference.

C9 by Champion, get on their mailing list, deals very often.

There was a Ref magazine article with pictures showing him making a CP. Really impressive.

I know other guys have different experiences, but worked last night in 38 degree weather. D3 took a foul to the TW lower mask pad...no problem, no head fuzziness. Catcher said I'll give you some time, I said no let's get right back to it...
-
What mask?

And be careful of the now free right shoulder strap, which can be tripped on as I found out wayyyyyyyyy back in the day.

Ow. That was on my test.

93.2 inches of snow with 6 more on the way tonight. A little cold, too.

Question #32 A post-participation ejection is an ejection that takes place after the game is over. a. TRUE. b. FALSE. Yeah, they're looking for precision, so when HC Mickey Dedunce comes out in the second inning after you handed his removed pitcher a pp saying "the game isn't over yet", you can say "it not just for after the game".
-
Don't have it with me to measure, but I would say 6". Seems wider than most.

Just received. Matte black, except the Mizuno logo/diamond in the center is high gloss. May paint that over.

"The play is not legal. Time should be called at the point the rosin bag is placed in the pitcher's glove; thereby, stopping play. The pitcher shall be warned and if done again, he will be ejected. This deception should not be allowed in NCAA baseball."
-
I agree with zm. Hiler mentioned that piece in Chicago too, but not as an official mechanic...are you sure you heard it correctly? Yes; don't think he could have been any clearer.
-
In Baltimore Hiler said call time when the rosin is in the glove, tell them they can't do it. Calling time prevents you from getting into a situation where they actually try to complete the play. Further, he said this ruling is straight from Paronto; not in this year's rule book, but treat it as if it were.
