We are looking to do our registration process online. Yes, we are currently using paper form with paper check mailed in to treasurer.

How does your association collect its dues? What financial controls are in place? Do you use Venmo or other electronic payment methods?

Looking for ideas.

Youth Association- Takes dues out of first week of games check for the year

HS Chapter- Cash, Venmo, Paypal, or checks are all accepted OR you can use scrimmage travel payments (Our scrimmage game fees go into chapter operating budget) to pay for the next year ahead of time. Refunds available if you don't call the next year.

Venmo works great. It provides the member a useful receipt. The Association also has an electronic record of the transaction. This has prevented arguments from members and treasurers claiming one did or did not pay.

I know of some other associations that are collected their dues when members register on Dragonfly assigning site.

For HS Baseball we register for the coming season in October/November via our association website. When we get to the payment section, the site kicks to Pay Pal and processed your payment and then returns you to the site.

For my HS Water Polo association, we Venmo the treasurer and he then marks us as paid.
