I just worked the dish of Game #1 (10 am 8/16/18).  It should be archived on ESPN3.com. 

Today and tomorrow’s games are on ESPN3.com.  Saturday thru Tuesday is on ESPN U.

We just got started.  Pitching is around the plate...that's all I care about!!

Oh my. Ringing that batter up on the 3-2 pitch, for the 3rd out in the top of 1st, set the tone for the rest of the 1:26 minute, 3-0 game for the home team. All the K's after that were swinging K's. Noticed the balk in that first game also.

Do not like that you went to 1B for your second game of the day at 4, after the 10am morning game. I think they should have put you on third after a plate job on the same day in a 4 man crew like you are using. But you are just a young pup and can handle a PU to 1B easily in two 7 inning games.

Also, I liked your new and improved realistic picture for that camp you are going to be the Head instructor for. That old Jr. High picture just wasn't cutting it any more.

update 8-20---you have now worked in the longest 7 inning game of the tournament so far with your game last night.

Dont know who the heck is doing the commentary on the DE-MI game right now on ESPNU. But F1 comes into bottom of the 7th with a perfect game. Announcers decide to mention this at the start of the inning. Gets the first out. Then walk, HBP, base hit, base hit, walk, walk for bases loaded and 1 out.

F1 couldn't hit the broadside of a barn if he was standing next to it.

Morons in the booth decide now is the time to get on the plate guy about being "inconsistent" on a breaking ball above the letters and a fastball at the shins.

That's because there wasnt anything to complain about. The pitches the announcers were talking about weren't strikes.

I just got to see the last couple of innings.  Well umpired, especially the plate.  And the inning was a big WOW!!!!

Enjoyable game. Good balk call by U1 earlier in the contest. Good timing by U2 on a CS waiting to see possession. Good plate also... consistent all night.. Great game. Congrats lawump and your crew.
