I have the below reebok plate shoes. Starting to show a little age on them. Has anyone switched from the reebok plate magistrate shoes to the new New balance plate shoes. Curious how they compare. I love the reebok I have.

They are not even comparable. I'm still angry at myself for selling the reebok shoes to get NB shoes

the brand new v3 NB ones? not talking about NU460's.  I will be keeping the reebok's to rotate in

Oh. Then i have no idea. I have heard nothing but good things

Honestly, I'd need a full season with the v3's, to test their durability.

They do have a lot of strong points, and they are comfortable. So out of the box they're fine. But talk to me in November, and we can compare.

Seeing that you still have nubs on your Reeboks, best to keep them. When those wear down, they get mighty slippery.

I'm the same. Moving from Zigs to the V3s. Will have to wait and see. But so far, I like them.

What size zigs do you have

Zigs seem to run small, NB seems to run big. A 12 in Reebok is probably an 11 in NB, but that's comparing them to NB460's.

Actually that is exactly what I have done. I have a wide foot. So I had to move up a half or full size in the Zigs. So I have a 12 in those. When I bought the new NB v3 shoes, I bought two pairs because... well... Ump-Attire is AWESOME. I normally would go with the 11.5 4E. But the 11 4E just fit better.

The NB V3's are some very good plate shoes, but like tpatience says, they aren't comparable. Wish I had bought extra Reebok Field Magistrates.  The absolute best pate shoe ever.

I liked the Reebok. If I can fix the top eyelet that tore I will rotate them in. I bought the NB 460's last year and am buying the low cut's this year. The biggest difference is they NB are lighter. But for those of that use to wear the +POS all new shoes are better. I will wait some more time to pass judgement but so far the NB can hold their own but everyone should have a pair of Reebok in their trunk.
