If you're talking about one for equipment the Force 3 is a great way to go.

I used to have the 36" Diamond. Plenty big and functional but almost too big. I've had the 29" eBag for two years now and really like it. Smaller and easier to lug around.

I have the F3. It was a little bit difficult to figure out how to pack it at first, but it works really well.

Looks like some good advice so far. All great umpire equipment bags!

Here is a to-the-point buying guide I wrote a few months ago that helps differentiate between the Champro, Diamond, Force3 and Wilson bags so you can best figure out which one is right for you: https://www.ump-attire.com/Buyers-Guide/Umpire-Equipment-Bags-Buying-Guide

Hope that helps!

This will be viewed as heresy by some, but you don't need an umpire specific bag.  Go to your local mega-lo-mart and buy a large suitcase with wheels and a handle.  I used three of them over 20 years, and the total cost was less than one "umpire bag."  And -- with the suitcase I could keep my clothes in it on hangers -- something that I don't think I could have done with the equipment bags.

I like but don't love my Force3 bag. It holds almost all my gear (just) but not my shoes, and I find the bottom compartment to be too small to be useful. It's supposed to hold shirts/pants, but the way that the top opens means that the bottom portion just sorta flops around when I try access it. I've taken to hanging my shirts and pants on a holy SH*# handle in the back seat.

For the price I paid for it (compared to other gear bags available in Canada), I'm happy with it. It was about $40 less than 36" Diamond bag, and while I wanted the Wilson, I couldn't find it anywhere and shipping from UA was prohibitively expensive.

I've never used the bottom. I found that packed right, it holds gear. I never put  my shoes in it, I leave them in the car back seat floor.

I do use the folding system or just hangers for clothes.

All of that, then, seems like a waste of $ for a bag.  Amd It's why I went with the single-compartnelnt large suitcase.  IT solves all those problems and costs less.

I've had a big suitcase and never had it fit in the trunk well. This fits mine perfectly, with room for a big gym bag, sleeping bag, pillow (small for emergencies), go bag and some tools.

I'd never use the compartment, because I leave my bag in the trunk and bring my clothes in all the time.

Another thing about the F3 bag. It confirms to FAA specifics if you're needing to take it on a plane flight without having to pay extra. I used it a couple of years ago to haul my gear with me to Holland on vacation. I wanted to umpire a game in Holland just to say I did.  Kind of a mid level Sunday league game, but the guys were good guys even the the beer was much better.  Love Holland.
