Magic words get you tossed, don't care about standing up for your guy.

Once again, announcers are clueless. Whatever CB's faults, he understands the "flow of the game," whatever the hell that means in this context.

No problem with the Gibbons ejection. For some reason he's argued warnings all season and he definitely knows the deal (as @maven said, you warn one bench, you warn both benches).

The Osuna/Hale ejections I'm not so sure about. The situation doesn't indicate that he would want to put a runner on in that situation, so I hesitate to think it was intentional.

​I'm not second guessing that call. The way those teams go at each other, unless you address these, you're asking for a brawl. I'd bet dollars to donuts that MLB has the umpires' backs on every one of these.

Pitchers think: oh, it's 3-1, I can get away with buzzing him here....

I agree, Maven.  ​There's no love lost between these two ball clubs.  I'm sure the umpire crews are on high alert every series these two teams play against each other.
