I work a lot of youth games and have noticed a trend of different names lately.  What names have you seen lately?

I have seen:

Mudcats

Fury

Storm

Hurricanes (in Iowa)

In another life, I once played on the Strike Force; we struck out a lot and hit into a lot of force outs.

I'm UIC/Assigner of our Hisoanic Men's League in Olathe, KS. (Suburb of KC). Lots of ex-professional and college players. Also lots of testosterone. Great team names. Faraones (Pharoahs), Aztecas, Rurales, Veracruz.  Really colorful uniforms.  Chicas. Rowdy beer-drinking fans, musica, announcer. Lots of cheers and jeers. Every Sunday.  All day. 10 am until 7pm. A regular fiesta.  Great baseball (for the most part) and fun for all.  I love it.

Cervezeros is Brewers en espanol.  I thought it was beer drinkers.  Hahaha

I coached a team once that was so good we seriously considered changing our team name from Mustangs to Asskickers.

My church's softball team is called the Trinity Sundae. (har har; we changed it to that from the Saints but our pitcher wanted us to be the Martyrs)

We had a 10u team called Swamp Donkeys a few weeks ago.  That probably made me laugh more than my previous favorite - Slobberknockers.

Homeplate Chili Dogs is a popular name around here, too.

I saw an adult team this weekend with the quite inventive name "Where the Pitches at?"

If I'm ever crazy enough to coach again, I was thinking Trophy Hunters.  Now there's lot's of other possibilities in this thread.

They were a hockey team, but would make an incredible ball team name is "The Ninja Sloths".  Hamburg Muchdogs is pretty much the most interestingly named team I have called.
