I got a couple of the ump attire bags but they are huge! They are they shoe book bags kids wear at school as book bags. Plus pos used to sell a mask bag that was perfect but don't see it on their website anymore. Are the Gerry Davis bags smaller than the ump attire? Suggestions please.

Lester's upstate sports has a padded mask bag, perfect size, the only issue I have is if you put your mask away "wet" it won't dry. I let mine air dry in the house, in the bag, in my equipment bag when transporting. The thing i like the most though is on those days that I just don't feel like putting stuff away at the end of the day, I can place the mask in the bag, put it in the trunk, and it won't get nicked up.

I have 2 +POS mask bags and 1 Honigs mask bag.....and one home-made mask bag made out of a towel from my daughter in her Jr. High home ec class.........that one is priceless....

In my bag. On my head. In the bottom drawer of my desk. IDRGAF because my new mask is a tank. My HSM I kept stored in a microfiber drawstring bag because I didn't want to chip the custom paint. In the end it did nothing.

Stan between honigs and plus pos which do u like better as a mask bag?

By far.....The Honigs.....the material is much softer...more cloth-like.....but it is older.....

The +POS bags are well constructed and rugged but the material is cheaper, more like backpack type nylon.....but does the job well.....

How much do you sweat???  The only time I've had a wet mask is when I've worked in the rain.

I have a large-ish shoe bag similar to this that I keep mine in. I'm not particularly bothered as I just use an old Rawlings at the moment, but when I get my new +POS one I'll probably invest in something a little more protective.

I use Honig's mask bags. They are not on the website anymore, but I know the store in college station, tx still had them as of last summer. Not sure why they are not listed. I like the material much better than that of the ump-attire drawstring backpack.

Why?

I've not had one chip or crack or scuff because of just keeping it in the gear bag in the trunk -- at least not beyond any marks that are on it from getting hit with the ball, etc.

Seriously.  I know people who clean everything after each game.  I do that with my shoes, but not other items.  To each his own.

I can store both of my low profile Wilson masks in a single Honig's mask bag. Really nice bag.

I got two of the +Pos bags and one Honigs bags....keep mine in them both before and after the game. I am kinda into the whole mask should look good and new thing. One of my umpire pet peeves I guess.....LOL.

I have bags for each one of my helmets, pairs of shoes and shins. I do clean everything after each game and normally spread the gear around the back of my SUV to dry until the next morning when I load everything back into their bags and into the large hockey goalie bags I keep in SUV.
