After our first date I am in love. Used the tan Team Wendy Pads today for the first time on Saturday. One word = LOVE. I will be changing my other two game mask over to black Team Wendy pads. And to think I thought the Wilson Wraps were the stuff. Little did I know. TW's felt so comfortable and I love how they form to the shape of your face.

I recommend to all.

My pitchers seem to jump around a lot after my games as well.

Don't seem to be smiling that much though.

Yeah the punch out to clinch a regional title made him smile....

I don't know.  Are you sure they weren't celebrating how amazingly well those TWPs performed?

Nice pic.

Quite possible JHSUmp. The Team Wendy's worked real well. Usually there is an adjustment period with a new mask, pads harness. Not this time. Felt like I had done 100 games with these pads.

@Mr Ump. did you take a shot with them yet? if you haven't, and you think love then now, just wait until you get wacked. I was absolutely amazed how little of the blow I felt. I've gotten knocked several times this year and each time I give a little smile thinking about what that would have felt like without TW's!

How often do you wash your TW pads? My tan ones get dirty fast, mainly where I grip the mask to put it on and off, the dirt transfers to the pads and quickly becomes dirty after 4 games or so.

+10000000000.  I took a medium speed shot this weekend, smack in the middle of the chin. One of those where everyone goes "OOOOH". And didn't.feel.a.thing. I was stunned for a second, but not by the hit. Quite the contrary, I couldn't believe how little of it I felt.

Now I'm by no means saying every shot will be like that. I've never been hurt by a hit but I've felt some, especially when they're stiffer in cold weather. But I would NEVER wear a traditional mask without TW pads. Too many fret over the mask design when it's the pads that provide the real protection.

Have not been hit in the TW yet. Kinda can't wait for the experience as I hear that I won't feel anything. Not too worried about cleaning the pads or how dirty they get. I rotate my mask  so my mask are not used a lot.

Finally ordered mine this week. Cant wait to see them, although ive not saw a alot of tan on silver frames. Hope it looks ok.

I saw someone on here in the mask porn have it. They had a sun shield that looked good on it too. So im not sure if I fell in love with the silver and tan or the sun visor just gave it that extra awesomeness. I ordered one once, Im pretty sure it was from honigs the same time I ordered a honigs mask. It was a diamond brand visor I think. Description said it would fit all mask they sell. It did not fit. I ended up just giving it to a partner one day.

I would love to find a reddish looking one like the Oakley fire color. Anyone tried to customize one? Maybe order a Oakley goggle lens and cut it to fit or maybe the football visors?

Edit: Or anyone know a site or company that sells a color other then black

The rainbow color that is offered pretty much everywhere is the closet thing to the pally fire color. You can get them on Amazon with the diamond logo. I think almost all are made by the same company just have different logos. ABUA (umpire.org) also has them.

Tan on silver looks good, but I just switched my black pads to my silver mask and the tan ones to my black mask this week when I washed them.

Washed my black ones for the first time last night. Wore them tonight. They feel much better now and caught on my goatee hairs less than before. Took an uncaught pitch straight to the mask with no issues.

Yea, I have a pair of Wilson Pro Platinum shins with them now. Should be about 6 weeks before I get them back.

Is good to know that they started doing the shinguards.  Thank for the info.
