These shoes are nice ......but they do come across a bit "footbally" if that makes sense

Ken, while it certainly appears that way, ...I don't think it was done on purpose .....

Remember, .... Nike "threw these together" to accommodate the NFL referees. They had the 1.3, so they added leather, and a couple of different soles for different field conditions....

Nike has the capability to throw that sole on any shoe for the right money. It is known as their "Nubby" sole. It's primarly used on their football turf modles. Here are a few shoes that don't come with this sole but it was added at the request of some professional guys...

The first ones would be some pimpin base shoes! could you imagine the looks you would get walking on the field wearing those?

I believe you will like them I picked up a pair from them last week. For a low top shoe the provide excellent support! I'm interested in how they will perform on the field.

I'm certain I will get all of my calls correct now that I have my new Nikes! I've never worn an 11 before, but I'm taking the advice from Honigs.

I bought the nike NFL shoes from Honigs...they are shipped out of the College Station (TX) store and from the moment I slipped them on my feet felt fantastic. OK the Nike logo on the heel is over the top but it can be blacked ot. They cost $99.95 but they are far superior in comfort to the Nike Diamond Trainer or the Mizuno wave.

I was at Honig's Texas a couple of weeks ago.

They are thinking that the NFL is going to a different shoe for this season. The officials were not very happy with last year shoe. I don't think it was offered in very many different widths. They preferred the Reeboks they had worn in the past. He was not sure what shoes they were going to wear this year.
