I'm highly considering doing the TW on my P210 15". Kinda hard to spend $120+ on a $50 CP, though.

i have one, i absolutely love it but like you said the rivets suck! all my white under shirts have rust spots on them and if i get wet enough, you know mid game down pours in July, the rust gets to my powder blues. if you find the velcro version please let me know i need to upgrade.

You can wear it under black or even polo. I know some dont like it and its just a personal choice but in some areas its practically standard and in some others its practically forbiden.

fittske , i have the 15" model (velcro) as pictured . I might consider selling , after i see how the new un- equal CP works . This may too big for you though ?

Give Ken dibs, but I'm also interested. The 15" is perfect for me. Covers my bottom rib and doesn't impede.

Im 6'4" 240lbs i have a long torso , fits great ! it isnt very heavy or too hot either IMHO . ive taken a shot at over 80 + mph off one of the shoulder caps before , didnt feel much , just a loud sound . i bought about 3 years ago and use mostly for anything 14u or below . i use my douglas or the allstar CP for any HS level or age above 14u .

Do not buy from them if you want to velcro version of the 220. They only have the riveted version. I ordered one from them a few months back and got a massive discount when I called them on the wrong pic. They still have not changed it. The description is wrong too.

wow. Thanks for the heads up!

Betterbaseball.com in Marietta, Ga also sells them. Maybe a phone call is a good idea before you buy one.

They acted like it wasn't a big difference, but were quick to offer a big discount for the "confusion." THe non-riveted versions are very hard to find now.

I believe this is the e bay seller i bought mine from 3 yrs ago . mine is the velcro style CP . the old stock of velcro models must be sold out now ?

My inlaws are in Slidell...They came away from the storm with no damage...it all depends on what part of Slidell you live in. Those by the lake probably got it worse than those who are not.

I have not ordered from them, so I can't vouch for 'em.

Here's what I do with unknown suppliers: I call them, and tell them I need an item for a certain upcoming tournament. And if I can't get it by then, it's worthless to me. That will tell me if they actually have the items in stock. Some just kick the orders direct back to the manufacturer, it gets drop shipped from there, and they just take their cut. That's cool, if I know what I'm buying, and I'm not in a hurry.

I use a credit card, so I'm not too worried about getting taken. I've always got some sort of recourse.

New style, yet with velcro. You're welcome. I've got a bunch of them for my Junior umires, and they ain't too bad.

This is how mine looks when I bought it in 2010. It's either velcro, or no velcro ....

The picture you're showing here isn't a 'new style' there are just much better pictures of this CP than others .......

There are three styles of this CP. Two of them were pre-patent lawsuit and then last (full rivet) were after. The first two are like the one Fittske24 posted and the other like above. Those two aren't very different besides the Champion Logo. I haven't seen the ones without the logo in a LONG time. They were sort of the prototypes.

I think that's just a jpeg that's been modified without the logo .........

No, there is one without the logo. I know people who own them. They were bought that way.

I have a very similar model to the champion . Its the V-Sport in a 17inch version. Ipaid 50 bucks for it two years ago and for ur buck u cant beat it. The protection is very good and have been hit many times and felt nothing. These chest protectors dont get their due because they are not a wilson or all star . If u can pick one up i highly reccomend them. And ur wallet will thank u
