Hi everybody,

I have checked this site out previously and decided to join this evening. It's nice to share thoughts, ideas, feedback and insight from fellow peers.

I returned to umpiring 2 years ago following a 6 year absence. I'm not sure why I left to be honest because when I returned I kept asking myself that very question and I have not been able to come up with an answer!

I reside in New Brunswick, Canada, which is the Province that borders the State of Maine. Seasons are short here, to say the least! Nevertheless, we have some extremely competitive ball ranging from Bantam AAA through Senior AAA. This area frequently hosts a number of National Tournaments and this summer we will be hosting our 2nd consecutive National Canadian Senior Little League Tourney in August.

It's nice to read the reviews and the comments and I look forward to being a part of the discussions!

Cheers,

Steve

Welcome back to the avocation and especially to the site. Welcome to three and two also. It's always good to see new members. I think you both will find the site friendly and informative.

I was gonna ask what "Maritimer" meant but then I decided to google it instead. There are a lot of definitions, this is part of a good one:

A real Canadian, unlike those asswipes from Ontario and Alberta. The original and best part of Canada, where people are down to earth...
