Dale is still very active. Called with him in TSSAA State tourney last year. He is still an Appy League fill-in as well.

The one thing I noticed immediately upon opening the link is the pictured F3 CP appears to have the Version 1 graphics. If you look at the Version 2 on the UmpAttire site the V2 graphics are updated including graphics on the adjustable throat protector b/c they want that logo visible from under shirt. So is All Sports East using an old V1 pic in product description link? Or are there Version 2"s with V1 graphics?

I'm thinking there is some kind of pink mask coming available..

In that same game I noticed the catcher was wearing an Adidas padded double bar mask that appeared to be thinner bars like titanium. Anyone know much about the Adidas catchers masks. Sorry no pictures.

I have the same issue as @Majordave. Feel like I might as well have flushed $50 or whatever I paid. I wear 36-38 waists & the Large were too loose on me as well

i bought a pair of the new "lows" from NB & wore them 1st time today paired w/my Force3 shins. i really liked the combo & both items compliment each other & there is a huge noticeable difference in the weight between these new NB's & the last model of their plate shoe. I was a big fan of the Reebok low plate shoes & am still nursing a pair of those along to try & get one more summer out of them. The NB lows are significantly lighter than Reebok lows as well. I liked the sheen of the newest NB's & after my game a few swipes of my shoe brush & they look perfect. I feel like it was a definite step up from my last NB460's.

Just received a couple of these harnesses from @Razzer as well as a couple of his lineup books. My harness went on a brand new WV Gold & after adjusting it snugs up better than I have ever been able to adjust a WVG previously. Really like this harness & it does have plenty of strap length as others on U-E have pointed out before. Very cool that Ray can personalize these with names, logos, etc . The 2nd harness he did for my son & customized it & a lineup book for him as well. I'm sure when he shows up for Spring Training there will be some MiLB guys asking for Razzer's contact info. I saw on FaceBook as well that some of the MLB guys are jumping on some ULFH customized harnesses as well.

Recently I have been busy with thinning then adding to my gear addiction. Great transactions as seller & as a buyer with @Majordave & @Razzer. Also great quick transaction with @JayGarneau. When one of the unauthorized bat swingers (say the 1 w/o his helmet on) gets knocked stupid for life by his teammate I hope your prepared to spend your entire season's earnings & maybe some of last year's & next season's too defending yourself against the local ambulance chasing personal injury lawyer his parents hire to sue you for all you worth.

That is a great mask. i have this mask & the first time you take a serious shot you will know it was well worth the $.

Had a pair of these in plate shoes once & was in love with them until the point that I took a direct hit on the toe cup on a foul ball in a Men's league game. Must have hit toe cup just right or something but damn near broke my middle toe. It was at this point I realized the toe cup was apparently plastic as i had to take shoe off to pop the dent out. I couldn't give them away fast enough. I wouldn't risk that again for anything over 12U in these but that's just my experience.

Restricting the HC at the same time as the AC would have put him in the dugout in order to police him possibly & as you mentioned would definetely have been supported by the rulebook. It would have also made it easier to dump the HC too for not controlling his AC. With that kind of charade I would have no reservations for getting them both.

I just ordered one for my Force 3 V1 which previously had a System 7 strap. It is every bit as good as the System 7. Seems a little more substantial in the triangle area portion of the strap. The nicest thing is once fitted properly on my Force 3 it gave me a bigger neck opening when putting on & taking off where previously it was much tighter fit over my head with the System 7. Moved the System 7 strap to a new Schutt XV & fitted it as others here on U-E have previously posted. Very satisfied with the Force 3 strap.

There is no "batter out" provision for a carelessly thrown bat in NFHS. Just a team warning followed by ejection of the next offender. He made up the out ruling or confused it with another set of rule codes other than NFHS. The only time a batter is out under NFHS for a "whole" thrown bat is if the bat interferes with a defensive player making a play on the ball.
