  1. I'm in the car on my way to a Ranger game.
  2. @ricka56 Consider it unread. You're welcome.
  3. I've never had a problem with a coach or fan while at Cooperstown Dreams Park.
  4. Not really sure how to spell what I "say." It's loud and true. I leave no room for confusion when calling balls and strikes. I agree with @MadMax, I think it's funny when players/fans imitate my strike call. What do I care if, in their minds, they are being disrespectful? "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."
  5. Another quick search of Arbiter gives this: Rule: 8.9.1 8.9.1 SITUATION B: The catcher doubles with no outs. Two outs later the coach sends out a courtesy runner for the catcher. RULING: Legal. The decision to use a courtesy runner for the catcher or the pitcher may be made any time the catcher or pitcher reaches base safely. Thank you very much!!!
  6. @BigUmpire bumper sticker idea? "You're an Idiot."
  7. @MadMax I've already told him that I think he's an id10t. The problem is that I can't find a specific rule or casebook example to support me.
  8. Fed Rules Catcher hits a single. After next pitch (0 - 1), the OHC was granted time to bring in a courtesy runner. I allowed it ... Game later finished with no problems. My UIC later told me that shouldn't have allowed the courtesy runner. He told me that courtesy is only allowed prior to the next pitch. I can't find a specific siting in either the rule book or case book. Can anyone help me with a rule citing?
  9. Wonderful time at CDP ... Glad to be home

  10. What a great man ... He will be missed.
