  4. Great cause! They looked awful however!
  5. The only thing that should be called out in this situation is the douchebaggary of that coach asking for him to be called out.
  6. When you restricted the AC, you should have restricted the HC as well. Also, where was the AD/Game Manager?
  7. No run scores on that play.

    Illegal Pitch???

In the windup, does the pitcher have to step with his free foot first. I did a game the other night where the pitcher would face the batter with both feet on the rubber facing forward. Instead of stepping with his free foot first, his first movement was to place his pivot foot in front of the rubber and then would push off and deliver the pitch. He would eventually step towards the plate with his free foot, but it was the second movement in the "windup". I had never seen anything like it, and I was wondering about it all game. I've looked up the windup rules, and they state that he "may" step with his free foot, but it doesn't mandate it. The other team's coach asked me and I didn't have an answer (I HATE THAT!!!).

    Balk Move?

If you can see daylight between the pitchers legs when he steps (when you're behind the plate), the move is good.
  10. You're gonna have to pat BIG BUCKS now! I have one and it is phenomenal.
  11. I do the same thing. They always look great. I have those same shoes, and the laces look exactly the same (twisted as Fu*$). I wonder why that happens.

Whatever logo you are thinking of doing must be either a .CDR .AI .EPS FILE

It is a file I can just drop into my harness file and send to my cutter.

If the logo is simple I will draw otherwise you need the right file

Any further email need to be with me directly as I answer those quicker

    Cell Phones

Never! What's to monitor? If you hear thunder or see lightning, clear the field. You don't need a phone for that.
  17. The league would dictate that. Check with the league. There is no provision in FED rules that provide guidelines for a time nor inning limit.
  18. Honigs is the official supplier of NAIA officials.
  19. I think you handled it correctly.

    Conferences and DH

I don't know why the association would give a coach a rules book. If you are a high school coach, your AD should give you the rules book.
  21. I'm glad I got mine last year!

  23. Just because someone is a "senior ump" doesn't mean you have to take every piece of advice. Listen to your assigner and your board of directors. If they say you shouldn't, then don't. If they say it's up to you, then you make your own decision.
  24. If there is no one keeping the official count (home score book, reliable scoreboard operator, etc...) I carry one. If the count gets screwed up, someone has to be able to help fix it. In higher level games (HS, legion) the home scorer is usually competent and uses a score book where the count can be kept. Some of the lower level games, the person keeping score doesn't even know how to keep a score book, let alone chart the count. I always carry one then. Bottom line: If it makes you feel comfortable, keep the indicator on the field with you. If you don't want to, don't.
  25. The crew in the Boston/Minnesota game are wearing solid black, without the white piping on the sides and sleeves.
