  1. I thought Barry s reaction after the 1st check swing was funny....kinda of like "hey your a grown man act like it thing".. I don't think Gibson should have EJ Howard as that was all Barry...
  2. I have had the Wilson bag now for almost 3 yrs.. Just recently I got a rip in the top pocket, but the rest is holding up fine.. I would stay in my trunk all season, being pulled out to the games. I keep everything in there, all my clothes are on the bottom folded up nicely, all of my gear is on the top.. shoes and everything. it is a nice bag and works well.
  3. the words are with my movement.. 1.. hammer in.. strike... 2.. move slide back..... three..
  4. you were there last year? what is your name? you can PM me if you like
  5. Well i went to the Mid America advance 3-man clinic last sep, with teachers like Joe Burleson ( AAA evaluator, CWS, Olympics).. Chris Coskey CWS guy, Greg Chittenden.. Former AAA guy.. who did teach us a bunch of advance stuff.. but never crossing into foul ground on a slide rotation.. it's cool.. I'm done with this thread here, as it is getting no where. Peace.
  6. this I know I have never heard of... canceling a rotation during the pitch?... with R1 and a clean hit to the outfield, this is always a rotation. I will have to email a few people, but I think your talking out of your ass..
  7. this is the post that makes me laugh.... you say by staying inside you be looking at A**holes and elbows, but you can look at the same thing from foul ..LOL
  8. Go ahead and read what i put in bold up there..
  9. Are we talking about the MiLB guys or your LL minor's? Not once in a AAA or AA game will you see this happen, it's is not being taught. I want to know who taught you this.... What clinic did you go to that this was taught?
  10. as i just posted, who taught you this.. I have been to clinics where a evaluator of AAA said you will not go into foul for a call there. And all of the 3 man clinics I have been too no one has ever said go into foul.
  11. I would like to know who told you this, cause he is full of dog poop....( my pg 13 version) ..you will not cross over into foul as you might get in the way...no way just like Ump_24 said you will stay in fair ground some what by the cutout.
  12. with R2 and R1 U3 is in "C" on a base hit U3 will go over toward 3rd, ( he will not go into foul territory U1 will come in and take Br into 2nd or back into 1st.. U3 will also start in "D" with R3 + R2.. If you look at the CCA manual.. you will see this.
  13. no.. you should only go out on trouble balls.
  14. good post rich... celt62 we will wait for a public apology anytime now...LOL
  15. cause it is LL and it makes no sense... I can understand if the Pu is in a Jacket, but not when he is in a shirt
  16. This is like textbook movement..LOL
  17. Did i just see that... wow.... crazy. good thing they are working for free.
  18. you hear guys do this all the time... Hell I worked a bunch of scrimmages at the University of Missouri, and even got paid.. but that doesn't make me a big XII umpire...LOL
  19. this is a bunch of crap.. Bill is a good guy.. I hope that manger soesn't get to work in the Independent league again.
  20. with R3 U3 can if he chooses to stand straddling or have his right foot inside the line, this is also a CCA mechanic. that way U3 gets a better look at check swings, fair balls, bunts that can touch the batter..any crazy stuff like that. But to answer no this is not just a LL thing.. big leagues do it too.
  21. that part is in correct... they use calk..seen this at Safeco many times..
  22. Once your in AA you go to 3 man..
  23. They are officially Douglas... my CP has that name all over it.. i love my vest, heck I sold a West Vest gold cause I wouldn't use that thing any more..
  24. Im a fan of the simulated games.. as I was once told.. at the other school, you can have a 1-2-3 inning and look really good.. What is gonna help you more.. going over these situations about 20 times, or maybe once?..I have been to Jimmy Weekend clinic, and Im going to the 5 week school this year.. I like his way of teaching.. and the Minor league guys teaching you.. they are qualified, hell they work in the minor so who not better to learn from.. a MLB guy who has been in the bigs for 10 years has different habits. we see it all the time...
  25. how much does he need to alter, a lot, a little, just a bit, a little bit more?....It does not have to be a big alteration, just enough, and if the umpire feels he did.. well you have INT.. no in this OP play the U2 did not feel he had INT on the play. But like I said IMO I have INT.. your opinion is Different. I don't really think either of us is wrong, just different.
