Are there any additional hand signals to use when working a 4-Man crew? If someone has a reference sheet or video link it would be helpful. Thanks.

It is boringly simple.

HPU will only pre pitch a point to third with r1 only (for if u3 goes out), the rest of the time they point “staying home”.

Still signal IFF and time play

U1 and U2 signal slide (reverse rotation) every other situation

No pre pitch signals with no runners on

I prefer Brad's Kahuna Burger. Or perhaps a Royale with Cheese.

Just don't kick dirt on HP to prove you covered it from U1 on a rotation.

Good point.  I tell guys on my crew I'd kick them in the ass if they ever did that.  Would I?  Of course not.  But, it got the message across I don't want it done.

What is the cause of your confusion?

Oh, the “confused” emoji? Yeah, I use that as a stand-in for other popular, more applicable emojis… such as an eyeroll, or contempt.

🤨

“Like” is too kind. It’s not a laughing matter, either. Dirt-kickers are contemptuous knobs.

I'm thinking of that video from Texas from what, ten years ago when U1 kicked dirt on the plate while a runner was on his way to score.

Some traditions have no place now.

I do it once, on my first rotation, to people I like.
