Recommendations for a throat protector for the All-Star Magnesium mask?

Greetings brothers,

     I have a black framed Mag with the out of production bird cage style throat protector and I just bought a silver Mag and I need a throat protector. (I'd like to buy another bird cage throat guard. If you have one to sell, please PM me.)

     In the meantime, what NON-bird cage style protector do you guys recommend with the Mag?

I’m giving you the confused face, @BT_Blue, because while it looks stunning (yay!), ya chopped it (boo!).

For that FM4K/5K style, other than its own “birdcage” TG, I’ve been recommending and equipping other umpires with the Mizuno Samurai TG. 

$12 at Amazon? Heck yes. Also definitely evokes the shapes and angles of the FM4K/5K.

Being from Amazon I would be concerned they may be fugazi's and would not hold up to real world testing.   Sigh I prefer to get something like that from a decent source.   Those do look cool

I have held one and seen plenty of youth catchers with Samurai model catchers gear using one and they seem to hold up very well to being hurled on the ground at every conceivable opportunity lol
