Anyone have any better suggestions than using a sharpie to blackout the white Wilson writing on the mask pads? Maybe a fabric pen?  Thanks.

A Sharpie - and a sun visor - always worked for me.

If no visor, then I used a Sharpie and kept writing over it, letting it dry, then going over it again.

I used black tape over the W on the front of my Wilson memory foam pads. It was hardly noticeable, or at least a lot less noticeable than the ugly gold W. It might look alright on your top pad.

A seam-ripper and about 2 minutes will remove the "patch" with the Gold W completely.  It is neat and clean and can be done quickly.

I don't understand the reasoning behind  removing manufacturers from gear.

Okay, I'll try that on my leather pads (I replaced the memory foams with those, I found them to be too soft.)

Then why don't you just buy clean, logo-free pads to begin with?

Because they might not like those actual pads. It is possible to like the actual pads without liking the aesthetic of them.
