Recently I have been searching high and low for a maroon umpire shirt. My only luck was with The Official's Choice, and we all know how amazing their customer support is. I messaged someone on eBay selling one and he said he got his from TOC as well. If anyone knows of anyone who is selling them please let me know.

Thanks!

The atypical colors, such as Vegas Gold, Maroon, Texas Orange, Sage (Olive Green) and Scarlet are currently Out of Stock, with indeterminate Restock goals / days. I check daily, as I'd like to get Scarlet and Cream (both in L), while I have colleagues here after Modern Black and Modern Sky. A couple of us, too, will likely get Modern Black w/ Pink detail to use for Awareness games instead of pink itself.

Bermuda Blue is a great color, too.

I'm also hoping he'll trot out his own rendition of the now-current '16 MLB Black and then Sky as well.

I was talking about Maroon shirts!

That too!:bang:

(What I wouldn't give for a poop emoji right now. Or one that is throwing up.)

Haha, the only reason I am looking for one is because it's a school color (Virginia Tech). I am planning on putting the school logo on it and a few other things for the games down here. We do games by ourselves down here so they don't care what color shirt we wear.

I'm all for the color choice and reasoning behind it, @PatrickArnold95. If that's you in your avatar photo, then I see you're already wearing a camo shirt for at least a game. ;) I would caution you on one thing... placing the VT emblem permanently on the shirt. Color may imply, but the logo seals the deal and the meaning. You don't want to have a coach, who is a UVA or Richmond University, or WeeVee grad, use it as a means of needling you or gettin' "under your collar".

Heard similar stories from Alabama -state umpires, who have a hard enough time wearing maroon around Auburn grads.

I've got a couple of the original TOC maroon shirts in my bag. And aside from one of my Junior umpires far too large choice in undershirts, I think they look pretty snappy.

Of course like anything decent TOC ever produced (remember their excellent long sleeved shirts?) they've been ditched for stars 'n stripes ball bags, and camo designs that were rejected by third world countries.

Nonsense. They accept t-shirts that stay that Buffalo won three straight super bowls (what I wouldn't give to have one of those mint). They will take these abominations.

Yea I'd probably only be able to wear it while I'm at school. Most of the guys I work with, coaches and umpires, are professors themselves. Back home you have to match with your partner, unless the plate wants to do his own. A friend of mine ordered the camo shirts from TOC (took forever to get them, shocking...) for surprise going away game for a former air force umpire who had one...he loved it! And don't worry, I get plenty of grief for being so young, especially when I work a 55+ men's league game!

I would think a UVA fan would keep quiet after that 52-10 beat down last week ;)
