Playoffs

The regular season has ended here in Mississippi(a few teams do have make up games Monday or Tuesday). Playoffs start Thursday. We play best of 3 series in each round of our playoffs. I received my assignments for the first round tonight. I'm on the dish Thursday for a 4A game 1, and on the dish again on Friday for a 6A game 2. This is my favorite time of year.

Toot my our horn...yesterday, I was informed that I was recommended by our chapter to work the state playoffs (semis and state champ games). Maybe this year will be our chapter's turn to work them (that's how its done here, or so I've been told).

What a difference from you warm weather states! My first game of the season was Saturday. Today is game #2 weather permitting. We won't start playoffs until the last week of May!

Our 9th and JV are basically done with only a few make up games this week. Varsity starts play offs soon.

Today was my 8th game and each teams 6th. Playoffs? You're talking about playoffs??

Congrats. I was notified last week that I was selected to represent our Association in the CIF Finals. The Board nominates 4 members and then CIF selects 0-4 to work 1 of the 7 CIF Championship games. I am #2 on our list of 4. Here's to hoping I get 1.
