I was looking on ump-attire and look what I found! I guess now if you want a Zero-G mask and are apprehensive of dealing with Plus-POS's customer service you have the option of getting it from a place with world class customer service! https://www.ump-attire.com/catalog.html?page=1&perpage=24&cat=0&orderby=price%20desc&brand=&search=Plus%20Pos

Nice! I'm a big fan of my mask, though the vinyl coating could be finished a bit better. Might try getting it powder coated this year.

It be nice if +POS could make a comeback.

I remember when you didn't want to get your gear anyplace else. Would love to get some + POS ball bags again.

Yeah. The ball bags, scraper plate brush and those long sleeved, lined jerseys. Top quality stuff. Hell, I still wear those low top plate shoes when working 4 man, 'cause they're sooooo good looking.

I'm considering buying one of those shirts, just don't know if I have a use for it. Note all that Ump-Attire is selling is the Zero G mask and chest protector.

Nope. I bought the Zero G in Charcoal early last year and it is not bare metal; it has a vinyl coating on the metal components. I was actually kinda disappointed by that since in the pictures on the +POS website it looks like bare metal, and there's no indication of a coating.

I would need pics to see if it's a zero g. The aluminum is coated as well as the bb69. But the zero g is powder coated

I don't have pics since I'm at work right now, but I might be able to snap some tonight. Not sure how well you'd be able to see it anyway, though.

The BB69 comes with leather pads and my mask has foam ones, and they also look different, so I'm 100% sure that I do not have the BB69.

BB181 Joe Brinkman model Brush/scraper........

If you work a field with tacky/wet/moist clay around the plate, the Brinkman brush is the best method to scrape it clean.  I do not put it back in my bag though.  I lay it in grass behind the dirt circle or toss it near backstop until between innings and I can wipe it off or need it again.

Great brush for that specific purpose.  Sometimes I even need it in dry weather when the field guys overzealously sprayed water on plate area making dust on the plate turn to mud.

And then you get the plates with the spike marks all over it and have to get a towel to clean it off. Never understand why they don't just cover up the plate?

I love the Brinkman scalper brush that I have. Have the same one I bought over 15 years ago and it still works. I have several of the newer black ones and they are not as great. They seem to last me about 2 or 3 games before they break where they are snapped together. I wish they would go back to the old style.

Upon further inspection of my mask, I think I was mistaken.

It's not a vinyl coating, but it is a thermoplastic powder coat that has a similar effect to vinyl, but is thinner.
