The All-Star is not as bulky as the Gold or Platinum.

yes hell it is. I felt like I was tied wearing the S7. I'm a gold wearer and love it. I had no protection issues with S7 but I couldn't even throw a ball to F1. And I looked like robo-ump. Each their own. I'll stick with what I like.

 

shoulder adjustments

I bought a System 7 this season. I have had 2 shoulder surgeries over the last few years. The System 7 is what I was looking for in regards to shoulder and collar bone protection. It works. Shoulder strap adjustments did wonders for getting rid of that tight bulky feel. I like it. I have no issues in regards to throwing after the strap adjustments. But my preference is handing the ball to the catcher so I rarely throw it anyway. My old protector is the WV Gold. I will be sending it to Team Wendy for some love.

How about adding in who has the their chest protector retrofitted?  I am curious as to who all wears it.

Last I saw Wolf was still using the Douglas and that was just a few months ago. He could just be a gear whore like many of us here and store away the extra gear in his collection for a rainy day.
