.....................didn't everyone get a chance to work a double-header at the University of Michigan baseball stadium Sunday morning ?!?!?!?

the above is in fun because I thought the group may like to hear this as we all share stories. Just having fun because a hack like me got to work a nice field. Nothing more, nothing less.

No, I only got to work 4 games wednesday at the university of Cincinnati, 4 games thursday at xavier university, 4 games Friday at Northern Ky University, 4 games Saturday at Miami University, and 3 games today again

What's wrong? I don't know. Ask your assigner where all the good umpire were rk and why he had to put you there. Do you need a custom mask in order to protect you inflated head? Just kidding. Congrats to you. The only thing better than doing a game on great field is doing a good game on a great field.

I did 5 games on Eastern Michigan's field Sunday! A little consolation I suppose!

We were actually pretty close to each other today! EMU and UM are only about 5 or 10 minutes from each other.

Isn't it great calling on nice fields? I've called at Samford University (college kids summer wood bat games), University of Alabama at Birmingham (showcase), but my favorite is the oldest ballpark in America (I call here alot)..... Rickwood Field. I enjoy all the history. It's in a terrible part of town between projects and halfway houses, it's usually s**tty games, but it's over 100 years old.

The better fields make me want to give 110% and be rock solid. I always strive for perfection, but on GREAT fields, you want to be even better. I understand why you are excited.

I don't see anything wrong with bragging about where you work some ballgames. No different than people posting pictures of the closets full of uniforms and accessories that I can only dream of ever owning. I get one color of each shirt (four popular colors only) and a couple of pairs of pants if I'm lucky every couple of years because my budget is not like some people's, which by the looks of it, is unlimited. I like to announce my accomplishments too, and I see nothing wrong with blowing own horn on umpire forum. Who else are we going to tell?
