I never saw the NCAA post the job again after Cline took the ACC job, but people obviously knew he couldn't do both. My guess is the NCAA reached out privately to other people who had been interested in the position the first time around in March. Just a guess though.

I put my TW Gold on the shelf for this season to wear the Davis. Man is it nice. I don't plan to go back. Took 92 off the chest the other day and was fine to continue right away. Slightly sore the next day(like very slight). But hard to not feel at least something with 92 to the chest.

Are you able to tell us what will be different about the pads than anything else on the market? I understand if you can't release that info yet.

How would you rate the shin guards compared to Force 3? I'm interested in maybe getting some. I absolutely love the new chest protector. Thanks.

It is worth every penny of the $300 based on my very limited use so far(one scrimmage). It has a very low profile, is very light, is very comfortable, and so far I took a shot at 70mph and didn't feel anything. If it can hold up to 90mph or so then it will be my full time gamer from now on.

Great. I didn't realize you had the version 3 shirts. How do they compare to the version 2 of your shirts with the side panels as far as fit and material? I really like those.

Does anybody have an opinion on which is best if you have tried both the Honigs and Smitty V3 shirts(current MLB). Also has anybody tried the Smitty or Honigs jackets with the grey shoulders in either the convertible or the heavy? Either better for any reason or have any size issues to know about before ordering? One from Japan and one North American. Both got gashes within the first 10 games I wore them.

That is the one flaw of the Mizuno's in my opinion. They get gashed really easy, i've had it happen to two pairs already. A buddy of mine fixed his with flex seal and I am going to try it in the near future.

Does the extension make the chest protector 14 inches, or is there a chest protector that is already 14 inches and then you add the extension?

That is the unicorn Riddell Power(in the picture) that gets bought and sold for around $1000 at this point. I agree I would want gap protection(and Ray's new protector probably will have gap protection). I was wondering if you had seen his new protector somewhere, I don't believe he has posted that at all.

What mods are you saying the Invictus needs? Have you actually seen Ray's new protector? I have just seen him say it will be like the Riddell but updated, I haven't actually seen any pics yet.

Tim is an outstanding teacher and is very passionate. I love his CBUA videos and have learned a great deal from him at camps. I agree with Jsam, I'd love to have the app if I could choose for all of the quizzes to be NCAA rules(and other umpires would be able to choose whatever level they prefer).

Most likely this should not be batters interference here. Since it is ball 4 the batter is now the BR and is allowed to move out of the box and head to first. Any interference here would need to be deemed intentional because interference by a runner with a thrown ball has to be intentional.

Multiple times. Been great every time. I don't think you can go wrong with them or Ump-attire. Both have been great in my experience.
