**correction** I believe the jacket is a L. No size tag on it but tried it on again and I think it is probably a L. Either a big M or a smaller L, if that makes sense. -

Hey everyone, I've had this for 2 years now but I was abroad for the past 2 summers so it has just been sitting in my closet at home. I used it for about 30 games before I upgraded to the 4000SL I bought from a fellow member. It's in really good condition and has removable and washable padding. Looking for $50 plus shipping.

Had this for a year before I upgraded to the 4000SL from a fellow member. It's in good condition and would make a great option for someone looking to try a HSM for cheap. Has removable and washable padding. Shoot me an offer! I can't get the pictures to upload correctly but I can send some upon request.

I was watching this game live, and this call forever persuaded me to be against IR. It seems as the season has progresses the less I like what the cameras are doing to the game.

After seeing the video for the first time it looked like the signal given by PU was the same "Yes he did!" signal on check swings. Obviously here we don't have any knowledge of the verbals he used along with his pointing, but if it were me back there I would have stayed in my crouch a second longer, said "No he did not!" and then came up from my stance and point to 1st with a little less intensity than shown in the clips. Just IMHO.

I know a few of you have been looking for this shoe as most sizes are out of stock on UA. I found them on Academy's website in my size, so they might have more available in other sizes as well. The list price is higher than on UA but there is free shipping. I just received mine today and the "black" color on the website is indeed the same shoe as on UA (the MB1000). Here is the link: http://m.academy.com/shop/Product_10151_10051_893187_-1__true?color=Black%2fSilver&N=20001+10001&Ntt=new+balance+1000&Ntk=All

The other day I was working a game, 16u, and I had a slightly larger catcher who set up higher than what I was used to. I had to move a couple inches to the inside to see the plate without the catcher's head blocking part of it. Anyway a few pitches into the game, I somehow realize that I was never really watching the pitch before! I noticed my head was at a bad angle and the ball came through the zone where I couldn't see it through the bars of my HSM. I tilted my head down slightly.....and wham!! It was like I was just guessing at the pitch before. I could follow the ball from the pitcher's hand all the way to the catcher's mitt. I saw foul balls and deflections off the bat almost every time, compared to usually seeing only a handful each game. It's kind of hard to explain but it was like I actually saw the ball, compared to before where I was merely looking at it. I thought I was doing it right before, crazy how one little thing like the way that catcher was set up made me realize how much I had to learn still. Moments like these get me way too excited for the Mid-American Clinic in September.....

I've ejected a few runners for bowling over the catcher at home plate, but today I had to eject 2 fans. 11u championship game, OBR with a few modifications. I'm in the field, R3, nobody out in the top of the second. Uncaught third strike goes to the backstop, catcher gets it and throws to first and gets the runner at first base. R3 breaks for home on the throw to first, so the first baseman tries to throw home to get the runner. However the batter-runner is in fair territory outside his running lane and collides with the first baseman as he throws home. I call the interference on the batter-runner and call R3 out on the play [7.09(e)] I return to my position in A and a fan starts cursing and calling me names. I ignore the first 2 or 3 objections but he continues his rant. I call time and dump him. He then gives me a few more lines with the help of his (presumably) wife, so I dump her too. They leave to the parking lot and both coaches are warned. The rest of the game goes fine, final score is 10-1. Comments? Opinions? Theoretically if the runner had been in his lane, would this still be interference? The comment on 7.09e seems like it would not be.
