  1. Plate Coat project is underway! Pics soon.

  2. Well, there goes the human element.
  3. Feel free to chime in whenever! Thats why we're here! Welcome!
  4. I WILL SECOND THAT! Life could be so much better right now and in the future if I could just find some games! Fall Ball really doesn't start here until the end of the month/early September unfortunately.
  5. Most anything from OfficialsChoice.com now... It is sad, they make pretty good products, but have died down. Their website still says "Happy Thanksgiving!" even..
  6. Was just cleaning all of mine last night!! Time to get ready for the fall!
  7. It was the right call.
  8. Gerry Davis. The "Gerry Davis Stance" is what some might talk about. It's the box, but just resting on your knees and not going down very low. Advantages of the Scissor: Nothing.
  9. Check eBay! I just bought three from there; nike short sleeve mock shirts. Only one actually had the logo on the collar, the other two just had it on the sleeve. but still, the shirts are nice and dry-fit, plus they're hard to find anymore. Finding a long sleeve mock compression shirt is easy, but for some reason the short sleeves are rare now, even in nike golf clothes.
  10. Gross! Thank god they don't.
  11. Honig's (Hardwicks) Poly Wool in Charcoal. Plate: http://www.honigs.com/detail.asp?Item=766&Sub=41 Base: http://www.honigs.com/detail.asp?Item=765&Sub=41
  12. New WVG gets here today! Come on UPS...

  13. The standard hat now is all 6-stich. I don't believe New Era makes a 4-stich hat anymore for the exclusive MLBU caps. Plate or bases, they all wear a 6-stich now, unless they use HSM, then no hat on the dish.
  14. We sell these at work, The Men's Wearhouse, they do seem to work really well. They're great quality and have a decent inner-compartment. Too small for umpire gear of course, but a great bag for a short stay or anyone who has to travel with suits, etc. Glad you like yours!
  15. I simply just use a garment bag. I typically have 11 shirts and 4 pants, all into a garment bag. I can either fold it into my umpire bag (Champro Umpire Equipment Bag) or just carry it separately. Works just find. The problem with finding a good bag is the depth of the bag, and it it can handle multiple layers of clothing. Plus, if it has a quality zipper, and strong stitching so that it wont fall apart on you.
  16. Met Jim Evans last night and spent all of today with him in a private clinic! Even dinner afterwards! Such a great guy, amazing experience.

You have been in the presence of greatness.

  17. Nice rotation! Instead of sometimes having a game off before, then plate, and then going right to third the following game.
  18. If anything, I bet it hangs over your pants weird, and will look kind of awkward when your tucked in shirt is pulled over it. The bulk and the length might not be that great.
  19. Thats a good one too. Both videos are almost virtually the same. Same hands in back pockets, not one word spoken, deep stare into the heated manager, partial facial expression to act interested in what they have to say (but not caring at the same time)... Oh yeah, and the ejections 5 seconds in after only a few words. Go Jerry.
  20. Gave him the flat out silent treatment. Go Jerry! I am curious to what Scioscia said so quickly to get ran so fast, who knows.
  21. No, not yet, but I've heard it's really good! I'll have to order it and read it for sure.
  22. That is the goal! Maybe someday.. only time will tell, for that could be 10 years down the road, if ever. For now, just making it at all is the priority. Will do! Thanks!
  23. Good call. Dunn moved himself into the way Hunter was trying to return back to 1B. Regardless of what Hunter did and his juke moves, OBS should've been called, as was rightfully called.
  24. Nice! Yeah, since meeting them was so easy (if you have time to wait an hour after the game), I really want to go to some other Royals' home games and try to meet some of the other crews.
