Anyone have an email address or good way to contact them? I 'signed up' on the website about 3/4 weeks ago but have yet to approved, and I would like to order a TG.

Thanks

Does that mean I can order my Mizuno CP to go with my Shins and plate shoes?

Sigh. If I won the lottery, I would love to get a Belgard CP.

Well, on July 27 of last year I ordered the Mizuno CP.

Made inquiries: on September 9, November 4, January 11 as I never received a shipping notice.

Every time, I received a reply updating my situation. They always gave me the option to cancel the order. As I live in Canada, there were shipping restrictions to Canada from Japan Post. Finally, on January 11, the good folks at Team Samurai Gears  posted that they were going to courier it to me with them picking up the difference in shipping costs. They needed to set up an account.

Got a shipping notice on Tuesday (February 15) from DHL and it came today.

For those of you who think this is not first rate customer service, I could not disagree with you more. The great service was demonstrated when I opened the box. In addition to my CP and the normal hand written note, SG sent a Samurai throat guard free of charge AND a 15% coupon on my next purchase.

My American friends, it is easier to ship things to all of you because of difference shipping regulations.  I cannot thank them enough with sticking with me and shipping the CP and would recommend purchasing from them.

Now, first thing I am going to do is see how I can slap a Umplife CP harness on it, then post an image the CP porn thread.

They really are awesome. Super accommodating. I saw Belgard pads in a different color from another Japanese website and asked if they could do it like that for me, and they said yes. Same price as the normal colors too. Great customer service

Is Samurai Gears still a company that is open to the public? I would like to know how to access it. I tried, but all information presented on the site is in a foreign language.

You have to make an account. The main site is in English

The foreign language would be Japanese since that is where he is based out of.

Signing up costs you nothing. And in the however-many-years it has been since I signed up, I have MAYBE received ONE email from him. So there is zero risk in signing up.

I had those same questions, to be honest. I used Google Translate to figure out where to sign up. @BT_Blue urged patience; sure enough, it took me a couple of months, but I have access now.

In fairness and if I remember correctly. You were trying to get in during the height of the pandemic. So EVERYTHING was a bit slow. Especially in Japan.

It was fair to wait, but it was this past summer, not 48 months ago.  :-)

Regardless, it's worth the wait.
