Yes, I'm becoming busier in ministry with each passing week it seems.   Umpiring was beginning to hold me back, so I had to let it go.

While it's hard to let your hobby go, it sounds like it's for a worthy cause!  I commend you on your tough decision!  I hope that time will bring you back to the field but know that you will be missed by the players, the coaches (:rollinglaugh:), and your fellow blues.

ok guys.....:sarcasm:.......now we KNOW all of the equipment that he needs for his next umpiring venture in the slow pitch church softball league.  THAT's why he's getting rid of the rest.......

All joking aside... my church group needs to use one of these!   They stand there all day and wait on a perfect pitch to try and hit a HR...

and I'm back there like... strike 13, strike 14, strike 15... are you even going to swing?

Then, they swing and pop out.
