Question
Jlee
Situation: Bases loaded, 2 outs. Batter hits ground ball to 2nd baseman. Baseman tries to tag out runner going to second, base runner avoids tag but runs out of baseline and is called out for leaving basepath by field umpire. Plate umpire watches runner from 3rd cross home plate before base path violation occurs. Does the run count due to timing play or is the run discounted due to the force out?
no play was made on BR and he reached base safely. Happy

Agree. Disagree (at least as stated in the OP -- there's no mention of a play on BR)
