I SO Mizuno Scoop

Probably beyond a long shot. But looking for a Mizuno Scoop throat guard (2za-206). Prefer black. But willing to go the route that TPatience went.

Rakuten seems to have them. But doesn't look like they are shipping them to the US right now.

I ordered it about a month ago, and they were out of stock then as well.  They emailed me a couple of weeks later to let me know they got some in.  I confirmed and received it about a week later.

Works for me since I was looking for something wider at the bottom than the All Star that I was using.

That is the ZETT. I have seen it for about the same price (around $28) on Ebay. But not sure about shipping as I haven't looked.

Do you have a photo to show Steve? All I keep ever seeing is the stock photos.

Its at home and I didn't snap a pic of it when I put it on my mask. I'll take one after work today. I can tell you that it's substantial.

That is what I have been thinking. I like the price you paid for the Mizuno though. 

I have some time since I won't be doing college ball this year (). I won't need to have a TG until February.

Not on a Nike mask...I cut my zetts down from the top and now they work

Just saying the Zett does nor work on the Nike Mask neither will the Mizuno shovel unless you cut the throat guard off

My Plus Pos ZRO-G has a very similar design to the Nike and it works well.  You just attach it to the TOP of the throat extension on the inside.  Here are a couple of pics:

I swear, Jeff ( @Thunderheads), you're a photo analyst for the ... well... _some_ gov't agency.

It works on a ZRO-G and not a Nike Steel or Titanium because, despite being very similar, the forward rake on the chin guard is more pronounced in the ZRO-G than the Nike, in which the chin-guard is nearly straight down.

This rake is not as aggressive as, say, the Wilson Titaniums, but enough to let a throat guard hang truer and not force you to modify it, or worse...

... cut off the unicorn's horn.
